Family Faith Formation Ministry Mission Statement
It is our mission to foster personal growth in our members by empowering them through providing spiritual resources, relevant worship, gatherings, and exploring and implementing rituals and traditions. We will gather in the “Godbox” to be filled with God’s joy and love as well as hope in Jesus Christ and leave equipped to be the church in their homes, workplaces, schools, and neighborhoods.
The following are faith forming activities for youth and families:
Family Fun Night
An evening of fellowship and fun for everyone! Typically 1 Friday night a month from 6-8 PM. We begin with a potluck dinner and all who participate are asked to bring a dish to pass. Activities are centered around a theme and are geared toward people of all ages.
SHYN (pronounced ’shine’ and acronym for SR High Youth Night)
SR High youth gather on Wednesday nights during the school year for Bible study, service projects, fun activities, and sometimes just relaxation. You are welcome to join the Confirmation class for a light meal at 6 PM. We will break off into our own small group from 6:30 - 8:00 PM.
Jubilate!
def: to rejoice; exult. Do you enjoy singing camp songs? Would you like to learn how to play guitar? Maybe you have other musical gifts you would like to share? Join Julia on Wednesday’s from 5:30-6:00 PM for Jubilate! I will teach you some basic chords and camp songs. If you have a guitar, please bring it. I would also love to help individuals or groups in practicing songs to sing or instruments to play for special music during worship.

Nursery and Family Resource
In the southwest corner of Luther Hall, there is a nursery area for parents of little ones. Feel free to use this space whenever your child may need to release some energy. There are also free resources such as devotion books, Bible Bookmarks, website addresses for you to take home and use as a family.
