H3 (Holy, Happy, and Healthy)

Join us Mondays at 6:30 PM or Tuesdays at 9 AM.

Meet to discuss a book, pray for one another, cultivate a healthy lifestyle (maybe even walk together), and just enjoy each other's company. Email us for more information. »

Adult Forum

Join us Sundays at 10:45 AM.

Following worship, grab a cup of coffee and head to the library for a traditional learning and discussion format adult class. We discuss topics such as how social issues impact our community and the history of Christianity. On occasion, we invite members to present on their world travels or give new insight into our faith. Suggest a topic. »

Senior Bible Study

Join us Thursdays at 10:30 AM (Third Thursday of the month only in summer).

Led by Pastor Harold, this group of senior citizens, most of whom are 80 to 95 years of age, meets weekly for some study relating to the Bible, the Church, Christian faith, or religion in general. For 15 years, the group has hovered around 10 in regular attendance. Someone in the group brings snacks for coffee. Prayer is always a part of each meeting as well as lots of senior humor. Usually, meetings are at church, but when some of the members are residents at senior apartments, meetings take place there. Recently, non-member residents have been attending the meetings. Email us for more information. »

Senior Choir

Join us Thursdays at 7:30 PM.

Enjoy singing praises and a willingness to work hard. We strive to rehearse for three weeks in advance for a Sunday anthem. To learn more, email Owen Wahlstrand. »

Ruth Circle

Join us the third Monday of the month at 12:00 PM.

Gather for lunch, a formal business meeting, and a Bible study. Women in the Ruth Circle are involved in several outreach projects throughout the year including hosting birthday celebrations at Severson Home, packing and delivering Christmas cookies for homebound members, and selecting and supporting a Sunshine Secretary to send cards to members during the year. All women of Immanuel are invited to attend.

Quilting

Join us two or three Wednesday of the month from 12:00 until 4:00 PM.

Join together with other church members to create beautiful quilts and wall hangings for baptism and weddings. We also create wall hangings for our sister church in Malawi using blocks that our members created, quilts for Luther Park’s Annual Quilt Auction, and quilts for other benefits within our church.

Lay School of Ministry

A Northwest Synod of Wisconsin educational program

The Lay School of Ministry assists lay people developing a deeper Christian identity and participating in the mission of the whole church. The curriculum emphasizes the understanding of the Bible, spirituality, worship, and Lutheran theology. The school provides students with opportunities to evaluate their past and present ministries, while receiving guidance from peers, seminary professors, clergy, and lay staff.
